Terms of service
Last updated:
These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use BetVault. Please read them: by creating an account you agree to them.
1. Who we are
BetVault is run by [Company name], a company registered in [Country of registration] under company number [Company number], whose registered office is at [Registered address]. You can contact us at contact@betvault.vip.
2. What BetVault is (and isn't)
- BetVault is a sports betting analytics tool. It shows bookmaker prices we collect, our model's estimated fair prices, and statistics such as closing line value (CLV) for bets you choose to record.
- BetVault is not a bookmaker or betting exchange. We don't accept bets, hold money, pay out winnings or act as an agent for any bookmaker. Any bet you place is between you and the bookmaker you choose.
- Nothing on BetVault is financial, betting or professional advice. Model prices, "value bets", "edges" and suggested stakes are estimates. They can be wrong, and past results don't predict future ones. You can lose money betting.
- Odds, fixtures and results come from third-party data providers. They can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and a bookmaker's live price may differ from what we show. Always check the price with the bookmaker before you bet.
3. Who can use BetVault
You must be 18 or over and allowed to bet where you live. You're responsible for following the gambling laws that apply to you. Don't use BetVault if you have self-excluded from gambling (for example with GAMSTOP); see our responsible gambling page.
4. Your account
Keep your login details private and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account. One account is for one person. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account.
5. Free trial, subscription and payment
- New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. You add a card to start the trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically and you're charged £49 per month, then every month after that until you cancel.
- We'll remind you before your trial ends where we can, but it's your responsibility to cancel in time if you don't want to continue.
- Payments are taken by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- You can cancel at any time from the Billing page. Cancelling stops future payments; see our refunds and cancellation policy for what happens to the current period.
- If we change the price, we'll tell you at least [notice period] in advance, and the new price will only apply from your next billing date after that notice. You can cancel before it applies.
- [VAT position and whether prices include VAT: to confirm.]
6. Fair use
Please don't: share or resell your account or our data; scrape, copy or bulk-download the service; try to break, overload or get around our security or limits; or use BetVault for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close accounts that do, and we'll tell you why unless the law stops us.
7. Our content
The BetVault software, design, model outputs and compiled data belong to us or our licensors. Your subscription lets you use them for your own personal, non-commercial purposes while it lasts. The bets and notes you record stay yours.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep BetVault available and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features. If we make a change that significantly reduces what you're paying for, you can cancel.
9. Our responsibility to you
- We're not responsible for betting losses, or for decisions you make using BetVault. Betting decisions are always yours.
- We're not responsible for losses that weren't reasonably foreseeable, for business losses, or for problems caused by events outside our reasonable control.
- Apart from that, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud), or your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Ending the agreement
You can stop using BetVault and delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we stop providing the service; if we stop the service we'll give you reasonable notice and refund any period you've paid for but can't use.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. The "Last updated" date above always shows the current version.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of [governing law and courts: to confirm]. If you have a complaint, please email us first at contact@betvault.vip so we can try to put it right.
