Responsible gambling
Last updated:
BetVault is for adults who want to bet with discipline and understand their results. It is an analytics tool, not a bookmaker: we never take bets or hold your money. Betting should never be a way to make money you need, or to win back losses.
18+ only
You must be 18 or over to use BetVault. If you know someone under 18 is using it, please tell us at contact@betvault.vip.
Signs gambling may be becoming a problem
- Spending more money or time than you planned, or than you can afford to lose.
- Chasing losses, or betting to escape stress or low mood.
- Borrowing money, or hiding your betting from people close to you.
- Feeling anxious, irritable or guilty about gambling.
Free, confidential support
- GamCare: National Gambling Helpline: call 0808 8020 133, free, 24 hours a day, or chat online at gamcare.org.uk.
- BeGambleAware: advice, self-assessment and treatment options at BeGambleAware.org.
- GAMSTOP: free self-exclusion from all gambling websites and apps licensed in Great Britain at gamstop.co.uk.
- Gamblers Anonymous: peer support meetings at gamblersanonymous.org.uk.
- Gambling Therapy: free support worldwide at gamblingtherapy.org.
Staying in control
- Set deposit, loss and time limits with your bookmakers; licensed bookmakers have to offer them.
- Decide a budget you can afford to lose before you start, and stick to it.
- Blocking software such as Gamban or BetBlocker, and gambling blocks offered by many UK banks, can help too.
- In BetVault you can switch off alerts in Settings, and cancel or delete your account at any time from Billing and Settings → Account.
- If you have self-excluded from gambling, please don't use BetVault. Email us and we'll close your account.
